When we think about the era Chuck Liddell fought in we can think of many exciting fighters. But was there any fighter that people got more excited to watch than Liddell? Probably not. Roots of Fight continues to pay homage to “The Iceman” with this new hat, which comes in blue with red and white text. His name, his style, and his hometown are all repped on the first of our new Roots of Fight Hats.
The Gracie family brought BJJ to America and taught it to the masses. Royce Gracie was the winner of UFC 1 and put MMA on the map with his big win. Royce continues to be an ambassador for the sport and even fought last year in Bellator. The Octagon patch with Royce Gracie 1 is a nice touch, as well as a reminder of who helped put this whole thing together.
Bas Rutten is one of the most fierce fighters in martial arts history. He never showed fear in a fight, not when he was fighting Pancrase style with no gloves, nor when he was the UFC heavyweight champion or fighting guys like Kevin Randleman, Ken Shamrock, Frank Shamrock, Guy Mezger and many other savages. He remains one of the most popular MMA personalities.
Smokin’ Joe Frazier is simply one of the greatest boxers of all-time. He possessed a unique combination of style and skill, a vicious pressure game in the ring, and heavy hands. His fights with Muhammad Ali are still cherished to this day, and they always will be. No one will ever forget the Thrilla in Manila. Frazier thrilled crowds at Madison Square Garden and all across the country.
Julio Cesar Chavez is one of the greatest boxers of all time and one of the biggest heroes in Mexican history. “El Gran Campeon Mexicano” simply brutalized his opponents with the ferocious “Mexican Style” of fighting in a career that lasted over 25 years. He had over 100 wins and of course is now enshrined in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
All the new Roots of Fight Hats are one size fits all with snapback closure. Although they aren’t pictured here, each hat has a unique design specific to that fighter under the brim, yet another nice touch — and another reason you should get the new Roots of Fight Hats here at MMAWarehouse.com!
