Comments about Venum Challenger 2.0 Boxing Gloves:
The gloves have been awesome. I'm 6'2 and 210 and have pretty big hands, I was worried it would fit too tight but they fit perfect. I use them a lot on the bag and for sparring and they've held up well.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
These gloves provide the same size for the hand with more padding for the 14 oz vs the 10 oz.

I read a review of these gloves saying that they were too hard for sparring. They were reviewing the 16oz ones. From your answer to another question you stated that the 12-14oz is recomended for sparring. I weight 165 pounds and only sparr once a week for fun... will the 14oz work out for me. I dont want to injure myself or my partners, but i dont want to spend a lot of $ on a pair of gloves that will only be used once a week or so either. Thanks
Yes the 14 oz will be fine for sparring. You will not need to worry about injuring your partners. Please remember to always use hand wraps when sparring or bag work as this will add protection to your ligaments and joints in your hands. Please email us if you need hand wrap instructions.

I see a spot where I can select what oz I want the glove in, but how do I select a hand size such as L, XL , etc. Also what is the sizing like on these and how do I measure my hand to determine what size to get?
The hand size is relatively the same for each ounce size of glove. The ounce size only pertains to the amount of padding on the glove. It is recommend that the higher ounce is used for bag work (16-18), where as a moderate padding is used for sparring (12-14oz). This way you are not knocking your sparring partner out.
