Ancient warrior Samurai used to carry "kubi bukuro" or "neck bag" and was used to carry the severed heads of their victims. While you're not about to walk around with severed heads in your possession, you can carry all your necessary gear or anything else in Jiu Jitsu style.

Comments about Scramble Kubi Bukuro Backpack:
First, the pros of this bag (which are the reasons I bought the bag) are the amount of roomy and the bag design. The amount of stuff I can fit in this bag is amazing. I can fit a gi and my strength and conditioning gear (shorts, shoes, towel, tshirt) as well as have room for other things like deodorant and massage balls. The design is nice because while it's a very large and roomy bag, the design kind of makes it look like a normal backpack. This is what I wanted because almost every other BJJ bag is HUGE and is not practical for travelling to/from work on public transport. The bag's main compartment has a water resistant divider that separates it from the other compartments. This is awesome because I can put a wet gi and training gear in the main compartment, but keep the other stuff dry.
The zippers themselves are high quality, but the red zipper tabs that you use to actually zip up the bag will come off with a little more than a tug. This is horrible because the zipper flaps on the bag are extremely stiff and make the bag very difficult to close. I had to resort to always having the flaps flipped up so that I can open and close the bag easily. I've also replaced the red zipper tabs with rope which is a shame because this was a nice design feature.
The threads that hold top of the bag strap to the bag started coming off about 2 days after I started using the bag and it's getting worse everyday. I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to use the bag.
There are lots of other bags on the market. I definitely would not recommend buying this one.
