How to Train BJJ at Home

We live at a fast pace. We're usually short on time. That makes it hard to get to the gym. Sometimes classes are early in the evening, making the post-work commute tense as you try to speed across town to get there on time. Sometimes it just doesn't work.

 

Or maybe finances keep you from getting to the gym. In this economy, not everyone has the money to spend on monthly gym fees. Those things are deterrents, but you can still train. Here's how to train BJJ at home.

 

It's easy to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at home, even if you don't have a partner. If you have a garage, basement or live in a warm climate, home BJJ mats are a perfect solution to not having a place to roll.

 

The mats come in two different sizes: 5x10 or 4x6. Measure the space you want to use for training and buy accordingly.
