Q:
I have a 13 in shin, what size shin guard would be right for me M or L? Also, are these shin guards adjustable?
Asked on 4/5/2013 by Aix079

1 answer
A:
The shin guard size is based on the measurement around the largest part of your calf. There are three sizes. A measurement under 14 inches, the recommended size is s/m or reg, 14 to15 inches, the recommended size is l/xl and over 15 inches, the recommended size is 2xl. All sizes are adjustable.

A:
Both are great for training, the difference is in personal preference of style and look. The 2.0 is just an updated design.

Since the shin guards are adjustable, XL would be advisable.

Q:
Should the top of the shin guard cover part of my knee? I ordered the smallest size - M - and it covers up half of my knee. This doesn't seem like the right fit for me?

A:
The shin guard should fit up to just below the knee cap.

Q:
What is the difference between this model and the amazonian and predator? Is it just design or is there a difference in padding/protection? I am a female taking Krav Maga - my shin is right at 11 in but my calf is 14 1/2. I think I would need a medium?
Asked on 11/28/2012 by Krav Lady

1 answer
A:
The difference is only in the design. There is no difference in padding. A medium sounds like the correct size for you.

Q:
hello i would like to no the size chart for the Venum Competition Stand Up Shin Guards
Asked on 9/6/2012 by shucster
Know the answer? Answer this question
1 answer
A:
The shinguard sizing is based from the measurement around the calf, at the largest place.
If the measurement is under 14 inches, the manufacturers recommend size s/m or reg.
If the measurement is 14 to 15 inches, the manufacturers recommend size l/xl.
If the measurement is over 15 inches, the manufacturers recommend size 2xl.

My shins are approximately 11.5 inches long. I am guessing I would need a medium? Thanks in advance!

There is no sizing chart, but based on this customers answer, a Medium should be good for you, since a Large is good for 16".

Q:
What are the sizing charts? I am 6'2", 190 lbs. Which size should I get, L or XL?
Asked on 7/1/2012 by Zak from South Lake Tahoe, CA
Know the answer? Answer this question
1 answer
A:
The L size is 16” or 40cm, the XL size is 17” or 42.5cm - it is hard to estimate what a 6'2'' 190 lbs. person should choose, but a measurement of their shin now that the sizes have been found should solve this problem.
