The first time I tired these on, I noticed the crotch hung way a couple inches lower than my others pairs of shorts. At the gym, I found the low crotch made throwing head kicks uncomfortable.

The fabric is extremely thin. I guess that's nice if you're working out in a sauna, but it also feels cheap and I don't think it would hold up to much abuse. Within about 10 washes, the velcro on the fly no longer stays shut. I wash my shorts in cold water and let then hang dry, there is no reason the velcro should give out so quick. I wrote Venum, who offered to replace my low-quality shorts with another pair of low-quality shorts. I didn't bother to take them up on the offer. These were a complete waste of money.
