I use these shorts for BJJ. They sit too low on the hips; as a matter of fact they sit below my tailbone, ouch. I would not reccommend these shorts for that reason alone. They quality of the material is excellent and I must admit, I still use these shorts under a higher rise running pant. I just can't let the purchase go to waist.

This product is awesome in that it has the pocket for the female groin protection. Of all the protective gear out there for chicks, this would have to be the best available. The first that allows full movement and comfort.
The only negative comments is that the butt area is still a bit small, and I am no JLO. I would suggest to err on the side of caution and go the next size up
