Unless you are a professional fighter, this unit is certainly one of the better bite to mould units out there. It is more than adequate for the serious amateur and trainer. I have far better lower jaw stability with this unit than the one the dentist made which had no jaw and concussion protection. I ultimately only used it for ground work. However, no guard is as good as the one made by a reputable orthodontist that fully understands the end use of it, but they are very expensive. Train Smart!
