I really like the fit and feel of this mouth piece - but the adult / large size does not go all the way to my back teeth. I don't know if this is by design, but its different than any other mouth piece I've used. I'm not a complete caveman, I don't have a giant head... I still wear it, and like it - its just not what I'm used to. Not sure if they offer an XL or not.
I heard good things about the brand (SD) at the gym and bought this mouthguard to see if it was better than my old one that i payed 4 bucks for, The sd mouth guard was hard (impossible for me) to mold even tho i followed the instructions from top to bottom after numerous attempts i gave up..

Q:
I'm a girl, the cheaper mouth Adult mouth guards tend to be too big, so I wear a youth. Do you recommend a adult or youth size? Do these tend to have a better smaller fit?
I would recommend this as an appropriate size for a girl. According to the product description, this is their smallest and lightest mouth guard, while still as sturdy as heavier and larger models.
