I bought these focus mitts for myself and my 7-year old son. He needed some attention to focus, aim and speed during sparring and I wanted to get what I needed to work with him so he can be prepared for an up and coming tournament.

So far we use these for sparring and combination drills. It definitely helps my 7-year old work on aim and control during combinations over the Thai Pads we usually use.

I give these pads 4 out of 5 stars only because I haven't had enough experience with other focus mitts in order to now it this set is top of the top. But they came recommended to me by a friend and professional kick-boxer. So far, I'd say it was a great recommendation, and I would definitely pass on the same recommendation.
