i bought 2 pair a 14 oz,18 oz. the 14 oz came w/the extra support strap, the 18 oz did not (they are probably getting rid of old style so if want the extra support make sure you say so). both gloves are great w/or, w/o the extra strap the 18 oz has enough support so do not worry, but the support strap makes it even better. i was happy because the only other ones i have like this are my lonsdale and when i first got them i was so glad for the strap the 2 best brand gloves i have even w/o strap, but the r2cage is a great glove and i will get a 16oz when in stock. the 14 oz w/strap feels a little heavy like 16 oz but who cares that means in a fight your hands will fly,hence why i buy 18oz gloves. i noticed that the fist part when you put them against each other are a little off but hand making something is not that easy so do not be surprised if one glove looks a little bigger than the other. try these gloves out go military if you were not in, when there on and your tired and want to stop, think about the soldiers,marines,sailors, airmen who keep going maybe get at least one more round if not more for you for them, some do not get a chance at another round.
