I have used many kick shields before and this is the best so far. I first got it because it has many different straps so that you can comfortably hold it any pretty much any positions you want.

Pros:
- Sturdy foam. A bit harder than other kick shields that I've used. This may also be a con for first time users, since it WILL hurt your hands and feet. I do not consider this a bad thing because it prepares you physically and mentally when it comes to actually hitting a person...which will also hurt.

- Versatile straps. I love that you can pretty much hold this shield in a lot of different ways.

- Makes a loud, satisfying noise. If you kick/punch correctly, the shield gives off a very satisfying noise.

- Great protection for the holder. Don't get me wrong, you can still feel the impact, but it's better than other shields that I've used. Make sure that you look up instructions on how to hold a kick shield if it's your first time or else you CAN possibly hurt yourself. Keep your teeth clenched lightly so that the impact wont force your lower jaw to smash into your upper jaw and possibly bite your tongue...I learned that the hard way.

Cons:
- So far nothing.

In 23 years of kickboxing experienience I have used several kicking sheilds. This product provides the greatest protection for the holder, much better than pads that cost twice the price.
