A:
These shin guards come in sizes XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL (or 2XL). You measure around the largest part of the calf. Under 14" you'd want small or medium. 14-15" you'd want medium or large. Over 15" you'd want the 2XL.

A:
The shinguard sizing is based from the measurement around the calf, at the largest place.
If the measurement is under 14 inches, the manufacturers recommend size s/m or reg.
If the measurement is 14 to 15 inches, the manufacturers recommend size l/xl.
If the measurement is over 15 inches, the manufacturers recommend size 2xl.

Q:
I am 6'1" with fairly large calves....I think based on shin length I should be in an XL, but I'm worried the straps won't be long enough...should I buy a 2XL or the XL? Also, if the 2XL isn't listed as a size option does that mean its just out of stock or that MMAwarehouse doesn't carry that size?

A:
The 2XL fits a shin length of 17 in. If this is not too much longer than your shin length I would go with the 2XL to make sure the straps are not too tight. The 2XL is listed in stock now, so it was probably just out of stock at the time. It is carried at MMAwarehouse.
