DELTRA EG™
In the multi-million dollar research laboratory of a leading University, Hayabusa's exclusive Deltra EG™ inner core was characterized and compared to other gloves. Using a state of the art force transducer striking device, researchers were able to develop cutting edge testing methodology that characterized materials and cores with laser like accuracy. The glove materials and configurations where subjected to thousands upon thousands of repeated impact cycles. The breakthrough results from the hardline data were undeniable. The new Deltra EG™ inner core of Hayabusa's tokushu series outperformed all others! The data revealed that this new core composite flawlessly manipulates impact energy, providing superior striking characteristics and protection. Deltra EG™ does not bottom out or degrade, and recovers from strikes instantly, so you are always protected.
DUAL-X & FUSION SPLINTING™
Injury avoidance is critical in martial arts. Fighters need advanced protection against common musculoskeletal injuries from misfired punches and improper hand/wrist alignment. Hayabusa has patented an advanced glove design that ensures the athlete is protected to the highest degree possible, and that no energy leaks occur - maximizing punching power. The Dual-X™ closure and Fusion Splinting™ systems provide perfect ergonomic alignment of the athletes’ hand and wrist. University testing, using axial pressure sensors, demonstrated the superiority of this design in guarding against harmful flexion, extension, and twisting. State of the art protection and unmatched quality, combined with hard scientific proof, means Hayabusa has truly engineered a superior fight glove.
Vylar™
A barrage of tests at the University of Cincinnati identified a new high performance engineered leather material, called Vylar™, as the best candidate for the surface of Hayabusa’s gloves. Though leather is in fact an excellent material, this research looked to push the limits of what gloves can withstand. Vylar™ was tested in extreme conditions to ensure it would excel in continuous hardcore training and repeated fight conditions. From surface abrasion, flexibility, tear, and crack resistance, the test results were nothing less than spectacular, causing more than a few jaws to drop. With the results in hand, it was clear Vylar™ Engineered Leather was the only choice for Hayabusa.
Ecta™
The tokushu’s gloves contain a specialized carbonized bamboo lining called Ecta™. This innovative lining is created with activated molecules to deliver 4 main benefits. With the exclusive Ecta™, you get impressive thermoregulating properties, powerful anti-fungal and deodorizing effects and because of the inherent soft properties of bamboo these are the most comfortable gloves ever developed.

These are excellent gloves that address a lot of issues I have had with cheaper offerings on the market.
First, the padding is very well designed, you can do a lot of bag work and your hands don't feel overly beaten up after. Also, the grip that you curl your fingers around, it allows you to really close your fist around it, which is something that many boxing gloves get wrong.
The dual closure system provides a lot of wrist support, but it makes putting the gloves on and taking them off just a bit more cumbersome than a single closure design.
These gloves really are a proportional step up from the average $50-$80 glove and I believe Hayabusa has delivered a lot of quality for the somewhat higher pricetag.
I bought the 10oz to replace my last pair of gloves. fits my hand perfectly. great on the pads. as for the heavy bag, as long as your technique is sound, you can give it everything you have and not worry about the wrists pulling up sore. i used them for sparring, but the 10oz is too small as i felt the skull couple of times through the padding. will probably dish out for a bigger pair for sparring.
These are the first high end gloves I have ever bought and I love them. My first 2 pair were Everlasts and didn't last very long. I have a right shoulder problem, and the way these gloves absord the impact is amazing. I haven't had any pain like i did before or a shock going up from my right hand to my arm. I am now able to train at full strength and push myself harder. I've had the gloves for 2 weeks now and no signs of wear or shape change. A great product.
Both the Venum Absolute gloves and The Hayabusa Tokushu boxing gloves are very highly rated by consumers, and both are an excellent choice. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Q:
Are these gloves better than the new hayabusa ikusa boxing gloves?
Always use 180's hand wraps. I am a US Army Combatives Instructor and always use hand wraps during training regardless of the gloves we wear or the intensity of the training.

A:
It is imperative that hand wraps be worn under all gloves. Without knowing measurements of your hand and your weight, I can really only give an estimate of a 10 oz.
