I have used this gi several times a week for several months now and must say its really well made. At a seminar with David Adiv, he mentioned that when he met with Fuji to design this gi they even designed the collar to make it harder to be choked by, which is another plus. It also stands up great in the wash, I personally did not have it shirnk on me using cold/cold and a low heat timed dry at 30 mins. and air dry after that. An all around great fit. I'm 5'9", 170 lbs, and wear an A-3.

I already own two top name BJJ Gi. Heard great things about the Fuji Single Weave Gi, so decided to try one myself (in white)!
I have only used this for two weeks (rolling 3 days/week with THIS Gi)So far it seems like a great gi. Reinforcement stitching is not as great as my Atama and Koral, but show no signs of trouble yet.
I read so many reviews that say this gi shrinks, so bought one size up (A3).....so far my attempts to shrink it to my A2 size, have NOT worked.(Hot Dryer)
Seems like this gi does NOT shrink like everyone said. Maybe since the 2007 reviews, Fuji have changed things.
I am 177cm 73kg. I wear an Atama Single Weave white A2 that was a PERFECT fit when purchased (and which has shrunk quite a bit now, but ok), and an A2 Koral Light (black)I got, that is TOO big ....and NEVER shrinks!(should have gotten an A1!)
The Fuji Single Weave BJJ Gi A3 is 170cm from cuff to cuff.(Arms wingspan)
Cuff width (laid flat) is 17.5cm ( measured from outer edge)
Top of Collar to Bottom of Skirt (measured in middle of gi) is 84cm
Armpit to armpit is 63cm
Lapel total length is 190cm
Skirt Bottom Length is 45.5cm (right side) +58cm (back portion)+ 45cm (left side) = 148.5cm Total bottom length(ignoring space in the two slits )
Pants fit me down to just below ankle. If they shrink it would not be a problem ...ever. Thinner softer material compared to my Atama & Koral, but seems strong enough to last VERY long. Ties easily. Collar doesn't have rubber (foam) so dries slower), but nice and thick.
VERY humid summers here in Taiwan, but no way to tell if this gi is suitable yet! Seems hotter than my other two Gi....but negligible.
Very comfortable. Worth the money spent.

Cheap quality gi[...]. Has held up as well as my expensive Atama gi that cost twice the price. The only con, and its only a con if you are not aware, the fuji gi shrinks just short of a full size if you wash in warm water and tumble dry. Since I had heard that was the case, I bought a size up. I completely reccomend.

Comments about Fuji Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Single Weave White Gi:
So I'm just starting out in BJJ, don't have a huge frame of reference here. But my instructor wears Atama, and wholeheartedly recommended Fuji. Which I thought was odd. But he was right. For a beginner, you can't beat it. It's solid without feeling like body armor, light enough to breathe, but heavy enough that the blue belts in class can drag you around without tearing it. Well-built, fine stitching and some kind of rubbery material sewn into the collar, which I thought would be weird, but just makes it sturdier. I'll feel comfortable putting plenty of miles on it: not the kind of gear you'll "outgrow" within a couple of months, which is nice. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs and leggy, and the A4 fits like a glove. The pants are nice and light, too, great for mobility. All this without feeling like you've blown a huge wad of cash. Searched around, including used, didn't find a better deal than this one. Didn't give it five stars just cuz, y'know, I'm new. Recommend.
