These are great shorts to workout in. My son is a high school wrestler and has found this style to be the most comfortable to wear at practice. The have just enough give to make all his moves possible.

Is it going to tear from extreme grappling? Also, how bright is the red color?

  This item is made with some spandex in the material to help deter tearing. Wearing them in too small of a size can cause tearing in any shorts however. The red is a fairly bright shade of red.
