I aquired this about 5 months ago. They are a nice pair of Focus Mitts it has gone thru hundreds of hours of actual use "i go to class 5 days a week 3 to 5 hours a day" i use it for JKD, Wing Chun, Muay Thai, Savate...so thats from concentrated quick punches/kicks/elbows/knees from JKD and wing Chun...and it has taken a hard beating in Muay Thai kicks/elbows/knees "emphasis on Hard"...alot of kicks from Savate as well...
Now to the actual review This set has proven itself to me its pretty durable nice leather it fits well the actual contact surface held pretty well from all that training "or rather beating" it has a velcro strap for those who have smaller hands or wrists like in my case which helps keep it in place when moving from drills. But dont be fooled these things are pretty versitile i have a buddy who has Giant Ape Hands and it fits him just right. Now i will break down the reviews to make it easier..
1. Durable nice materail good craftmanship
2. Versitle fits well nice and secure with internal ball or hump "yah i dont know what its called" but it helps keep it in place... nice on the hands also. As someone already said its wrist security/coverage is lax ive never encountered it but a buddy of mine who has the same mitts complains about his wrist hurting after training
3. Punch Surface holds up well did not go really soft like others would after constant use ive had other mitts go real soft on me surface wise and i prefer a nice firm target 'unless you plan on fighting gumby or a muppet" mitts are suppose to have a firm/hard surface it emulates a Human Target...
4. Its leather so breathability is subject per person basis "as in any gear Clean it Sanitise it Dry it PEOPLE" i dont have sweaty hands so its not an issue for me..but my buddies are animals they have sump hands or something of the sort but as i said take care of your gear and it will be fine one buddy takes care of his and its fine another buddy is a freaking Slob and his mitts smell like a Gym locker Again Clean it Sanatise it Dry it... and boom things last longer and smells a hell of a lot better...
So thats my review i waited on doing this till i had sufficient data/info etc etc...

i got mine yesterday and put about a 6 hour work out on them alone. before i tell you more need to tell you about how i test products. for each product i buy i put a mean test against them with few friends. this product got about 6 hours worth of a str8 beating on it of jabs hook uppercuts and over hands not to mention beating with kicks. i would say it passed it got alittle softer but not much i have used better products but this isnt bad at all the person holding the pads feels alot of impact on the wrists and forearms so thats the bad thing about it but other then that it is great product and mad to last and when it starts to wear down i will let you guys know

Comments about Bad Boy Leather Curved Contour Focus Mitts:
This is my first pair of Focus mitts so I cannot compare them to others. They are leather though so they are hard to beat for the money. They do have an internal ball for added grip and protection. When my wife and I train with them the mitts do slip a bit during use. I really don't see how this can be prevented though on any mitt design so I do not blame the mitts for it. Overall I am very please with my mitts.

Comments about Bad Boy Leather Curved Contour Focus Mitts:
I use these mitts on average about 3 times a week. They have received well over one-thousand punches and have not worn out at all. I enjoy the mitts for their quality and sleek look with the Bad Boy Eyes on each mitt. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs great mitts, I assure you they will last just as long as the most expensive pair.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
