Honestly, given the Atama name and reputation, I expected much better. I have had this for a little under a year and use it about twice a week, as a have one other gi I alternate it with. The fit is very good, and while I am happy there is a brand out there making gis for women, quality is a major issue.
The top and pants have a great deal of loose threads. However, there are no major holes, rips or tears. The pants were also shorter than average on me. While I like the rip stop design on the pants, it can get sort of see through when you get really sweaty. The collar is also a little thinner than I'd like.
Given the price of this gi, I expected much better. I would not buy this gi again.
These is a great gi, it is really tailored to fit a womens body. The only reason I did not give this gi five stars was because the bottoms are so dang short, I usually like them to be slightly above the ankles, but these rest almost mid shin for me, but then again I kind of have long legs.
