the most durable gi i've ever owned. everyone always compares other gi's to atama kimono's. so, if something the the standard for almost every product to live up, buy it! i gave one to a student a year ago, after 2 years of use, and it still hasn't torn at all! people always say something about the seam in the back??? i have never noticed it? if you notice it you either aren't paying attention to your instuctior, or you aren't concentrating on your technique enough when you're rolling! lol!
Good gi, rather stiff though. You really have to wash it quite a few times before it really can be considered comfortable. Extremely durable though and great for rolling.
I use the gi in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and so far so good.It lets you move and really isnt all that heavy, to this point the only con is it makes you very hot but I am sure most gis do,all and all I really like mine.
I use this kimono 5 times a week washing it every day and it is still holding up great after a month and a half so far. I love how so the material used feels it doesn't get all stiff after hang drying it. I would recommend this kimono to anyone looking for a mid weight gi that is very durable.
